Placements24 client is seeking an experienced Remote Fleet Manager to oversee a large transportation fleet from anywhere in the United States. This fully remote role focuses on maintenance planning, driver compliance, cost optimization, and safety improvements across multiple locations.

You will leverage telematics, fleet management software, and data analysis to drive efficiency, schedule maintenance, monitor performance, and report on key metrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in fleet or related transportation role.
• Proven ability to manage a large remote fleet with strong leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
• Proficiency with fleet management software and telematics.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and cut costs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet operations, including acquisition, maintenance, and disposals, remotely.
• Develop cost-reduction strategies for fuels and operations.
• Ensure safety regs compliance and regular vehicle inspections.
