Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a Senior Operations Manager for a remote role with up to 40-50% travel. Lead region-wide service operations, manage fleet managers and site staff, and drive KPIs, safety, and client satisfaction.

The role requires strong diesel fleet maintenance expertise, leadership, and data-driven decision making to ensure uptime and asset readiness. You will coordinate billing, monthly closes, and reporting, while fostering cross-functional collaboration and continuous

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred with 10+ years in fleet maintenance/operations
Demonstrated leadership of large cross-functional teams
Strong communication and data analysis skills
Experience managing service operations and client relationships

Responsibilities

Oversee service operations across regional sites and lead fleet managers and local administrators
Ensure KPIs/SLAs, safety, and compliance across regions
Coordinate billing inquiries, monthly closeouts, and monthly KPI reporting
Develop and staff operational talent; partner with EHS and training teams
Act as primary client liaison and manage vendor relationships
Drive uptime and asset readiness through proactive planning and scheduling
