Job summary

The National MS Society seeks a strategic leader to head Bike MS and the endurance fundraising portfolio, driving growth, participant engagement, and long-term portfolio health. As Vice President, Endurance Events, you will align cross-functional partners, steward a legacy brand, and shape innovation across markets to advance the Campaign to End MS.

This remote-friendly role requires 10+ years of fundraising leadership, a proven record in large peer-to-peer campaigns, strong financial acumen,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive fundraising leadership experience.
• Experience leading large-scale peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns.
• Experience developing innovative strategies for campaign performance.
• Strong financial and business acumen: forecasting, budgeting, portfolio management.
• Experience partnering with volunteer leaders, boards, sponsors and external stakeholders.
• Ability to lead through growth and organizational change.
• This role requires in-person attendance at meetings and events plus travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and performance of Bike MS, Challenge Walk MS, and the endurance fundraising portfolio.
• Steward and grow Bike MS as a legacy national campaign and shape its next chapter.
• Develop growth strategies to increase participation, fundraising, sponsorship, and engagement.
• Lead portfolio strategy across markets with investment, expansion, optimization, and sunset decisions.
• Provide leadership across Development and align cross-functional partners around priorities.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team across markets.
• Oversee multi-million-dollar budgets with forecasting and resource allocation.
• Partner with volunteers, sponsors, and stakeholders to strengthen participant experience.
