Job summary

The National MS Society seeks a Vice President, Endurance Events to lead Bike MS, Challenge Walk MS, and the endurance fundraising portfolio. You will drive growth, expand engagement, and advance the long-term strategy across markets while guiding dispersed teams and partnering across the organization to accelerate impact.

This remote role requires up to 40% travel and in-person meetings, with compensation in the $150,000–$180,000 range and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive fundraising leadership experience.
• Experience leading large-scale peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns.
• Strong financial acumen including forecasting and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and performance of Bike MS, Challenge Walk MS, and the broader endurance fundraising portfolio.
• St ew ard and grow Bike MS as a legacy national campaign, honoring its 40+ year history.
• Develop and execute growth strategies to increase participation, fundraising, sponsorship, and engagement.
• Lead portfolio strategy for Bike MS, Challenge Walk MS, and emerging endurance opportunities.
• Provide leadership across Development with cross-functional partners around priorities and results.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team across markets.
• Oversee multi-million-dollar revenue and expense budgets and forecast responsibly.
• Partner with volunteers, sponsors, and stakeholders to strengthen participant experience and fundraising goals.
