Job summary

The National MS Society seeks a strategic Vice President, Endurance Events to lead Bike MS, Challenge Walk MS, and related endurance campaigns. You will oversee growth, participant engagement, and long-term portfolio health while partnering with volunteers, sponsors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive fundraising leadership experience.
• Experience leading large-scale peer-to-peer campaigns with revenue and engagement responsibility.
• Ability to develop and implement innovative strategies for campaign performance.
• Strong financial acumen including forecasting and budgeting.
• Experience partnering with volunteer leaders, corporate sponsors, and boards.
• Proven leadership in growing teams through growth, transformation, and change.
• Ability to build alignment and drive accountability for results.
• Willingness to attend in-person meetings and travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and performance of Bike MS, Challenge Walk MS, and endurance portfolio with growth and engagement accountability.
• Grow Bike MS as a legacy national campaign and shape its next chapter within the Campaign to End MS.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase participation, fundraising, sponsorship, and volunteer engagement.
• Lead portfolio strategy across events and advise on investments and expansions based on performance.
• Provide leadership across Development and align partners around priorities and results.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team with clear ownership and execution.
• Oversee multi-million-dollar budgets with sound forecasting and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with volunteers, sponsors, and stakeholders to enhance participant experience and fundraising impact.
