Job summary

Coinbase seeks a Software Engineer on the CDP Payment Acceptance team. You will ship full-stack features across Go backend and React/Next.js frontend, powering merchant checkout, subscriptions, and onchain settlement for businesses of all sizes.

You will implement durable workflows with Temporal, instrument services with Datadog, and own on-call rotations while collaborating with Product, Design, and other engineering teams to integrate Payment Acceptance into Coinbase’s developer platform.

Qualifications

3+ years of full-stack production experience with Go and TypeScript/React.
2+ years of API design and backend services.
Experience with PostgreSQL and migrations.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end feature delivery across Go backend services and React/Next.js UI.
2) Build and refine buyer checkout UI with a focus on conversion and performance.
3) Implement durable payment workflows using Temporal for onchain settlement and refunds.
4) Instrument changes with logs, metrics, and traces; participate in on-call rotation.
5) Collaborate with Product/Design/Engineering to integrate Payment Acceptance into Coinbase platform.
