Job summary

Coinbase in the United States is seeking a Software Engineer on the CDP Payment Acceptance team to build the stablecoin payment rail powering merchant checkout and onchain settlement for businesses of all sizes. You will ship full-stack features across our Go backend and React/Next.js frontend, contributing to a trusted, performant developer platform.

You’ll own end-to-end delivery, build the buyer checkout UI, implement durable workflows with Temporal, and participate in on-call rotations while

Qualifications

3+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience shipping production systems in Go and TypeScript/React.
Relational database experience with PostgreSQL, including schemas and migrations.
Experience designing APIs (protobuf/gRPC, REST, OpenAPI) and instrumenting systems.
Experience with durable workflow systems (Temporal/Cadence) or onchain payment patterns.
Clear design docs, PRs, and runbooks for cross-team collaboration.
Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end feature delivery across Go backend services and React/Next.js checkout.
Build buyer checkout UI with focus on conversion and performance.
Implement durable payment workflows using Temporal for onchain settlements.
Instrument changes with logs, metrics, and traces; participate in on-call rotations.
Collaborate with Product, Design, and engineering teams to integrate Payment Acceptance into Coinbase platform.
