Job summary
Rula, a remote-first company, is hiring a Software Engineer to enable the Revenue Cycle Management team with scalable platforms and tooling for payments, claims submission, and workflows.
You will work closely with product, design and operations to improve efficiency, reliability and cost across this core business function. Strong software fundamentals, product thinking and a growth mindset are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience partnering with product and design teams.
- Experience building scalable, reliable systems and performing post-launch maintenance.
- Understanding modern apps architecture, API design, data modeling, security, performance & scaling, plus frontend state management.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable platforms and tooling to support payments, claims submission and revenue workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations and business stakeholders to improve efficiency, reliability and cost.
- Apply strong software engineering fundamentals and product thinking to complex operational challenges.
