Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead high-priority, multi-quarter programs across product, engineering, design, data, and business teams. You will turn strategy into clear plans, ensuring reliable on-time shipping of complex features across consumer fintech products.

You'll need 7+ years of TPM or similar experience, technical fluency with distributed systems, and a track record of driving initiatives through ambiguity and tight timelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Engineering leader, or similar role driving large technical programs in a high-growth consumer technology company.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programs from problem definition through launch and post-launch follow-up, ensuring scope, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics are defined and tracked.
• Drive the operating cadence for your programs (kickoffs, status reviews, dashboards, risk tracking) to keep teams aligned and accountable across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and business partners.
• Identify risks and cross-team dependencies proactively, drive mitigations, and escalation crisply when leadership decisions are needed.
• Partner with Engineering leads to evaluate technical trade-offs around reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability, ensuring architecture decisions support program goals.
• Translate product and business goals into executable program plans and define program-level KPIs that guide prioritization and decision-making.
