Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead high-priority, multi-quarter programs spanning product areas and engineering teams, turning strategy into executable plans and shipping features reliably and on time.

This role requires 7+ years of TPM or engineering leadership experience in a high-growth consumer tech company, with strong cross-functional collaboration, data-driven KPIs, and a focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience leading large technical programs in a high-growth consumer technology company.
• Proven ability to drive programs independently from framing through launch in ambiguous environments.
• Technical fluency in distributed systems to engage with Staff+ engineers on architecture and sequencing.
• Experience defining program KPIs and using data dashboards to guide prioritization and outcomes.
• Familiarity with trading, payments, or crypto/web3 fintech is a plus.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programs from problem definition through launch and post-launch follow-up.
• Drive the operating cadence for programs (kickoffs, status reviews, dashboards, risk tracking) across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and business partners.
• Identify risks and cross-team dependencies, drive mitigations, and elevate crisply when leadership decisions are needed.
• Partner with Engineering leads to evaluate technical trade-offs around reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Translate product and business goals into executable program plans and define program-level KPIs that guide prioritization.
