Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting is seeking a SCADA Engineer II for a remote-first role supporting mission-critical infrastructure projects. The position emphasizes on-site learning during construction, FAT, IST, commissioning, and targeted troubleshooting, with travel and learning exposure designed to build strong fundamentals.

You will work under senior engineers to develop, test, and configure SCADA systems, gaining field experience while contributing to design reviews and commissioning planning.

Qualifications

• Foundational SCADA concepts and control-system integration knowledge.
• Exposure to FAT, IST, commissioning activities and field coordination.
• Willingness to learn across remote development and on-site exposure.

Responsibilities

• Support development and configuration of SCADA systems to project requirements and STC standards.
• Implement HMI graphics, alarms, data models, and system logic per design intent.
• Assist in developing SCADA scripts, templates, and reusable components under guidance.
• Translate operation sequences into functional SCADA configurations and test components.
