Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting seeks a SCADA Engineer II for remote-first work supporting development and commissioning of SCADA systems for critical infrastructure. You will learn through field exposure during construction, FAT, IST, and commissioning, while collaborating with senior engineers.

The role emphasizes building strong fundamentals in SCADA, control concepts, and system integration, with on-site learning opportunities and occasional project travel.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience with SCADA or control systems in industrial environments.
• Foundational understanding of SCADA concepts and system integration.
• Exposure to alarms, HMIs, and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure SCADA systems according to project requirements.
• Implement graphics, alarms, data models, and system logic per design intent.
• Assist in creating SCADA scripts and reusable templates.
• Translate operation narratives into functional SCADA configurations.
• Test and validate SCADA components in development and staging environments.
• Support field learning during construction, FAT, IST, and commissioning.
