Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting is seeking a Lead SCADA Engineer to direct SCADA architecture, development, and technical quality across mission-critical projects in the United States. Remote work with limited travel for FAT/IST/commissioning is supported; on-site reviews and escalations occur as needed.

The role requires senior expertise in SCADA systems, supervisory control, and integration, with a focus on scalable, secure solutions and high availability for data centers and industrial infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent with hands-on SCADA experience.
• Experience designing and developing SCADA systems.
• Strong knowledge of architecture, data modeling, and integration.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain SCADA system architecture and standards.
• Lead development of SCADA code, scripts, and reusable components.
• Review designs and ensure cybersecurity alignment.
• Support FAT, IST, commissioning and live cutovers.
• Mentor mid- and senior-level engineers.
