Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting is seeking a SCADA Engineer II for Critical Infrastructure. This remote-first role supports development, configuration, testing, and commissioning of SCADA systems for mission-critical infrastructure with limited on-site exposure for field learning.

You will work under guidance of senior engineers, travel periodically for FAT/IST and commissioning, and grow toward greater independence while contributing to project success.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience supporting or developing SCADA or control systems in industrial, utility, or infrastructure environments.
• Foundational understanding of SCADA concepts, control systems, and system integration.
• Willingness to travel periodically for learning-focused field exposure.

Responsibilities

• SCADA Development & Configuration with STC standards.
• Project and Field Learning Support on-site during construction and commissioning.
• Testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting support for FAT/IST and live systems.
• Mentorship & technical growth toward increased independence in development and ownership.
