Smart Tech Contracting is seeking a SCADA Engineer III – Critical Infrastructure to design, develop, and support SCADA systems across mission-critical projects. The role emphasizes system design, development, and execution under STC standards, with remote work options and on-site engagements for FAT, IST, commissioning, and high-risk troubleshooting.

The position requires 4–6 years in SCADA engineering, strong architecture and data modeling knowledge, and experience with major platforms such as

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of SCADA engineering experience in mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of SCADA architecture, data modeling, alarm management, and HMI/graphics philosophy.
• Experience with system integration, communications, and commissioning workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SCADA systems per project requirements and STC standards.
• Coordinate SCADA efforts with PMs, engineers, field leadership, and commissioning teams.
• Support FAT, IST, and commissioning activities and perform peer reviews of configurations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal standards and knowledge sharing.
• Complete tasks on time and within budget per project scope.
