Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Specialist, Market Operations to provide real-time support for electronic trading, clearing systems, and exchange applications across CDE and Deribit. The role entails resolving complex inquiries, coordinating with product teams, and enabling client onboarding for both exchanges.

You will work in a remote-first environment with quarterly in-person surges, and contribute to process improvements while leveraging AI responsibly.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Information Systems, Economics, Finance, or a technical field.
• 1+ years in financial markets operations or technical operations.
• Knowledge of listed futures or options, with hands-on error trade analysis.
• Ability to diagnose complex technical problems and explain to non-technical audiences.
• Experience delivering multi-channel support under high-volume, time-sensitive conditions.
• Familiarity with prediction markets, event contracts, FIX protocol, SQL, or CRM tools like Salesforce/JIRA is a plus.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own real-time support for electronic trading, clearing systems, and exchange apps across CDE and Deribit.
• Investigate and resolve customer inquiries about exchange functionality, market events, and connectivity.
• Provide front-line support for investigations tied to exchange operations, including error trade analysis.
• Coordinate with product and development teams to launch new products and deploy updates in pre-prod environments.
• Support onboarding and ongoing enablement of clients and vendors across both exchanges.
• Identify, document, and recommend operational process improvements.
