Job summary

Pragma is seeking an experienced People Operations Generalist based in North America to own the full People function across the US and international teams. This hands-on, autonomous role covers hiring, compensation, benefits, payroll, and employee development, partnering with founders and Finance to scale a high-growth organization.

The ideal candidate will be AI-enabled, capable of building automations, and comfortable designing processes from letter to offsite.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in People Operations or HR.
• Startup or high-growth tech experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience across recruiting, compensation, benefits, payroll, and employee relations.
• Experience supporting distributed and international teams is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own hiring, leveling, pay, development, and support across the US and international teams.
• Run end-to-end recruiting, employment documentation, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Manage payroll, benefits, and vendor stack (e.g., Rippling, Bennie, Sterling, Common Wealth, EOR).
• Develop and maintain compensation, leveling, and equity practices as the company scales.
• Plan and execute offsites and build scalable People systems.
