Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced insurance coverage attorney in California for a fully remote role. You will handle first-party property coverage analysis, defend insurers, and contribute to subrogation work for national and international clients.

Required: California Bar in good standing and 2+ years of coverage and first-party property experience; associate through junior partner welcomed. Excellent drafting and advocacy skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of insurance coverage and first-party property experience.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Experience defending insurers in litigation and handling subrogation matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft coverage opinions for insurer clients.
• Defend insurers in lawsuits filed by insureds.
• Analyze policy language to advise on coverage positions.
• Coordinate with insurer claims teams and adjusters on active matters.
• Support subrogation actions on behalf of insurer clients.
