Our client, a leading international law firm, seeks a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice Group in California (Los Angeles/Irvine). This REMOTE role involves in-office Mondays, with complex coverage disputes for domestic and international insurers.

Candidates should have a JD from an ABA-accredited school, Law Review or Honors, and active California Bar membership, with about 6 years of substantive litigation experience focused on insurance coverage.

Qualifications

JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
Law Review and/or Honors required.
Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.

Responsibilities

Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions.
Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients.
Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other research tools.
Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses.
Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation.
Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers.
Collaborate with partners and team members to advance case objectives with efficiency and precision.
