Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced insurance coverage attorney to join our national litigation and coverage practice. This fully remote position is based in California and offers a base salary up to $200k with bonus potential, along with firm-paid life and disability insurance and a generous time-off policy.

You will draft coverage opinions, defend insurers in litigation, analyze policy language, and coordinate with insurer claims teams on active matters for national and international clients.

Qualifications

• California Bar admission in good standing.
• 2+ years of insurance coverage and first-party property experience.
• Associate through junior partner level welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Draft coverage opinions for insurer clients on first-party property claims.
• Defend insurers in lawsuits filed by insureds.
• Analyze policy language and claims to advise on coverage positions.
• Support subrogation actions on behalf of insurer clients.
• Coordinate with insurer claims teams and adjusters on active matters.
