Job summary

Deblock seeks an Internal Controller to strengthen its control framework within a fast-growing fintech environment. You will perform second-level controls independently from the business, challenge the first line of defense and help continuously improve risk and control practices.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with internal control frameworks and risk management.
• Proven analytical skills to assess control effectiveness.
• Ability to challenge stakeholders constructively.
• Experience in permanent control within fintech or regulated institutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent second-level controls to assess first-line controls.
• Ensure controls are designed and implemented in line with regulatory expectations.
• Assess adequacy of risk and control framework and identify gaps.
• Contribute to risk assessment and control mapping across activities.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve the control environment.
• Monitor remediation actions and track issue resolution.
