Job summary

AZA United in Phoenix, AZ, seeks an HR Operations Coordinator to support onboarding, HRIS administration, benefits, and reporting within a hybrid work model (80% remote, 20% in-office). The role partners with HR, IT, Payroll, and Operations to ensure compliant, effective HR operations.

You will manage employee communications, policy updates, and process improvements while maintaining confidentiality and delivering exceptional service to staff and managers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• HR Certification a plus.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a role requiring attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience generating reports, analyzing data, and maintaining records in a complex system.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding activities for new hires, interns, and other workforce populations; manage communication and document collection.
• Administer HRIS, benefits, reporting, and employee communications.
• Develop process documentation, maps, and job descriptions; participate in improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate wellness program administration and employee well-being activities.
• Respond to HR inquiries; maintain confidentiality and compliance; support audits and special projects.
