Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company reinventing credit with a focus on transparent pricing and consumer-friendly payment options. The Legal, Compliance, and Public Affairs team drives licensing strategy and regulatory filings across the U.S. and international markets.

The Licensing team manages the licensing portfolio and partners with Legal, Product, and business leaders to support growth. This role reports to the Director, Global Licensing and Regulatory Programs.

Qualifications

• 5 years of licensing/compliance/regulatory experience ideally related to consumer financial services.
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
• Proven project management, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Humility, integrity, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support state licensing and reporting for product launches (money transmission, servicing, lending, international expansion).
• Coordinate with legal, public affairs, compliance, finance, tax to meet licensing obligations.
• Maintain licensing and reporting repository with workflows and guidance.
• Prepare and submit state licensing annual reports and MSB call reports.
