Job summary

Cambium Learning Group is seeking a Director of Learning Experience Design for Math to champion pedagogy across our math portfolio. You will lead a high‑performing team to turn research into differentiated, engaging digital experiences that improve student outcomes.

This remote‑first leadership role requires deep expertise in learning science, standards, and data‑driven product iteration, with a track record of delivering creative, student‑centered content at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in learning experience design or educational content development.
• 3+ years leading or managing teams in product development.
• 3+ years of K‑12 classroom teaching experience or equivalent.
• Demonstrated use of data and analytics to guide iterations.
• Proven track record launching highly engaging digital learning experiences.
• Deep knowledge of national/state standards and content pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Champion Product Taste and set usability benchmarks for math experiences.
• Lead design artifacts reflecting standards, equity, and pedagogy.
• Collaborate with PM, Eng, and Marketing for user-informed initiatives.
• Coach team to create gamified and teacher‑facing learning experiences.
• Establish frameworks for formative research and post-release study.
• Manage budgets, capacity, and vendor relationships with precision.
