Job summary

EEI is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to lead commissioning, QA, and performance testing for data centers, healthcare facilities, and high-reliability environments. You will oversee planning, design review, testing, and turnover, while managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Sciences, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commissioning, project management, building systems, controls, construction, healthcare, laboratory, mission-critical, or other high-reliability environments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, controls, and building automation systems.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, resources, and client relationships across multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning projects through planning, design, construction, testing, and project closeout.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and overall project performance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, design teams, and project stakeholders.
• Lead commissioning activities including startup verification, functional performance testing, integrated systems testing, and troubleshooting.
• Review design documents, specifications, submittals, and sequences of operation to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Identify project risks, manage issues proactively, and develop effective solutions that keep projects moving forward.
• Mentor and support junior commissioning staff while contributing to EEI's culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
