Job summary

Engineering Economics, Inc. (EEI) is seeking an experienced Electrical Lead for the Mission Critical team to oversee electrical commissioning for data centers and other high-reliability facilities.

You will lead field execution, testing, documentation, and client coordination to ensure systems meet project requirements and expectations. The role requires 10+ years in electrical systems and strong leadership, with a focus on troubleshooting, collaboration, and delivering high-quality

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electrical systems, commissioning, facilities operations, engineering, construction, maintenance, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of power distribution systems, switchgear, UPS, generators, PDUs, controls, and related electrical equipment.
• Ability to lead electrical commissioning execution, guide technical teams, and support complex project coordination.
• Advanced understanding of MEP systems, controls, and integrated building operations.
• Ability to read/interpret drawings, specs, sequences of operation, commissioning plans, trend data, and technical docs.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, leadership, communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and commissioning documentation tools or project software.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time without sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical commissioning execution for systems supporting mission-critical facilities and data centers.
• Oversee field execution, functional testing, integrated testing support, and closeout activities across projects.
• Escalation point for complex electrical system issues and drive resolution with project stakeholders.
• Align commissioning activities with scope, schedule, client expectations, and EEI quality standards.
• Communicate project status, technical findings, risks, and follow-up needs with clients and teams.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and prioritization support for Electrical Support and Sr. Specialists.
• Strengthen safe, high-quality commissioning practices across the electrical discipline.
