Job summary

EEI seeks a Commissioning Project Manager to lead commissioning, quality assurance, and performance testing for data centers, healthcare facilities, and other mission-critical environments. You will oversee planning, design review, testing, and turnover, managing budgets, schedules, and resources while ensuring client expectations are met.

This role requires strong leadership, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Sciences, or related field.
• 5+ years of commissioning/PM/high-reliability environment experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, controls, and building automation systems.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, resources, and client relationships across multiple projects.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning projects through planning, design, construction, testing, and closeout.
• Manage budgets, schedules, staffing, and overall project performance.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, contractors, design teams, and stakeholders.
• Lead startup verification, functional performance testing, integrated systems testing, and troubleshooting.
• Review design documents and sequences of operation for alignment with objectives.
• Identify risks, manage issues, and develop effective solutions.
• Mentor and support junior staff while promoting technical excellence.
