Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking an AI-forward operator to transform People Operations, integrating systems, signals, and service models across the employee experience. You will leverage AI to predict needs, drive scalable solutions, and lead a team focused on faster, smarter, and more responsive HR delivery.

You will own design, execution, and continuous improvement of HR service delivery, collaborating with IT, Payroll, HR M&A, and HR Business Partners to modernize work in an AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in People Operations, HR program management, or related field with cross-functional portfolio leadership.
• Proven track record of using AI and automation to redesign operational workflows at scale.
• Strong program management fundamentals: prioritization, governance, dependency management, executive communication.
• Experience partnering with HR tech teams on Workday, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Data-driven thinker connecting metrics to investment decisions, risk, and outcomes.
• Excellent communication, judgment, and discretion with sensitive employee data.
• Uses generative AI with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead with foresight to anticipate where the org needs to simplify, standardize, automate, or redesign work.
• Scale AI-powered HR service delivery while embedding automation where it improves speed and experience.
• Serve as strategic advisor to the People function and align HR processes with business priorities.
• Translate complex needs into process maps, requirements, and launch plans for automated, self-service, or human-supported work.
• Lead and develop a team, modeling data and AI as daily decision tools.
• Tie process and automation investments to efficiency gains, cost, risk reduction, and culture of service.
