Coinbase, Inc. is seeking an AI-forward operator to lead People Operations, shaping the end-to-end employee experience through AI and automation.

You’ll own service delivery design, partner across IT, Payroll, HR M&A, and HR Business Partners, and scale AI-powered processes with a strong emphasis on human oversight. You’ll build and lead a team, translate complex needs into repeatable workflows, and measure outcomes in efficiency, cost, risk, and employee experience.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in People Operations or related field with cross-functional leadership.
• Proven track record using AI/automation to redesign workflows at scale.
• Strong program management: prioritization, governance, dependency mgmt, exec comms.
• Experience partnering with HR tech teams on requirements and data quality.
• Data-driven thinker connecting metrics to investments and outcomes.
• Excellent communication and discretion with sensitive info.
• Uses generative AI with human oversight to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, execution and improvement of AI-powered HR service delivery.
• Partner with centers of excellence and IT/Payroll/HRBP to modernize processes.
• Turn ambiguity into clear process maps, requirements and launch plans.
• Lead and develop a team; use data/AI in daily decision making.
• Tie automation investments to efficiency gains, cost, risk, and experience.
