Coinbase, Inc. is seeking an AI-forward operator to lead People Operations, shaping how employees experience work through AI and automation. You will design, execute, and continuously improve HR service delivery, partnering with IT, Payroll, HR M&A, and HR Business Partners to modernize workflows.

You’ll drive measurable outcomes by turning insights into scalable, human-centered solutions, with a focus on speed, accuracy, and compliance in a rapidly evolving organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in People Operations, HR program management, operations strategy, process improvement, HR technology, or a related field, including complex cross-functional portfolio leadership.
• Experience using AI and automation to redesign operational workflows at scale in a global organization.
• Strong program management fundamentals: prioritization, governance, dependency management, executive communication.
• Experience partnering with HR technology teams on requirements, testing, data quality, and change adoption for Workday, Jira, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead with foresight, using Jira, Workday, ticketing trends, service-level data, employee signals, and capacity data to anticipate and simplify work before issues surface.
• Build and scale AI-powered service delivery, embedding generative AI and automation to improve speed, accuracy, and employee experience.
• Serve as strategic advisor to Centers of Excellence, unifying HR functions as one connected system aligned to business priorities.
• Translate complex cross-functional needs into process maps, requirements, success metrics, SOPs, and launch plans.
• Lead and develop a team, modeling data-driven AI use as a daily decision-making tool.
• Tie process and automation investments to efficiency, cost, risk reduction, and employee experience improvements.
