Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book, retain accounts, and support new business. You will coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues and ensuring no errors or omissions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in account management, strong insurance brokerage knowledge, and an active P&C license (CIC preferred).

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate daily administrative and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Monitor policy expirations, renewals, and client submissions.
• Negotiate coverages, prepare proposals, and present to clients.
• Maintain agency systems and ensure data accuracy.
