Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business and support new opportunities. The role requires coordinating daily admin tasks, resolving complex issues, and ensuring accuracy in policy administration, billing, and renewals.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, with active P&C licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Strong knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CIC or higher designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organization.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities and resolve complex issues.
• Maintain policy management, renewals, and expirations.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages and proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances; ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain agency systems and carrier/vendor platforms; ensure timely updates.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and seek continuous improvement.
