Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Security Systems &Fire/Life Safety Estimating Coordinator in the United States. This home-based, full-time role supports estimating for access control, CCTV, fire alarm and related systems across commercial and industrial projects.

You will prepare cost estimates, proposals, and turnover documentation, while coordinating with field personnel and service coordinators. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3–5 years estimating experience
• 4+ years in Fire/Life Safety or Commercial Security Systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and PC skills
• Qualified candidates must work in a home-based, virtual environment
• Ability to communicate professionally with remote teams
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for training

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and proposals for ITM services on security and fire protection systems
• Determine solutions meeting customer needs while ensuring code compliance
• Prepare proposals with supporting cost estimates
• Send proposals to customers and field personnel
• Track customer correspondence to secure approvals
• Coordinate with team to identify parts and services costs
• Prepare turnover documents for service coordinators
• Track proposals and purchase orders
• Escalate unresponsive customers for approvals
• Provide feedback to streamline processes
• Deliver outstanding customer service to remote customers and field teams
