Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Security Systems & Fire/Life Safety Estimating Coordinator, based anywhere in the US. You will prepare cost estimates and proposals for impairments, ensure code compliance, and coordinate with field personnel to deliver accurate, timely quotes for commercial security and fire protection systems.

This role requires 3–5 years estimating experience and 4+ years in Fire/Life Safety or Commercial Security, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a home-based, virtual environment.
• Clear communication skills (verbal and written).
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Travel up to 10% for training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and proposals for impairments identified during ITM services on security and fire systems.
• Determine solutions meeting customer needs while ensuring code compliance and operability.
• Prepare proposals with supporting cost estimates.
• Send proposals to customers and field personnel per workflow and code requirements.
• Track customer correspondence to secure approvals for repairs.
• Identify source/cost of parts and services with team input.
• Prepare turnover documentation for local service coordinators.
• Track proposals and purchase orders.
• Escalate unresponsive customers or delays to supervisor as needed.
• Provide process improvements to streamline throughputs.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and support.
