Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Experienced Simplex Fire Alarm System Technician/Programmer to join our national team. You will program fire alarm systems, interpret construction documents, and apply NFPA standards to each project.

Work with local offices and design teams, attend weekly Teams meetings, and upload completed projects to SharePoint. Proficiency in MS Office and Simplex tooling is required; NICET II/III certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Simplex Fire Alarm Technician/Programming Experience.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and Simplex programming tools.
• Proficient in interpreting NFPA standards and reading construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Program Simplex Fire Alarm Systems per project specs.
• Coordinate with local offices and design teams to obtain files and drawings.
• Read drawings and specs; apply NFPA standards to system design.
• Attend Teams meetings; upload completed projects to SharePoint and assist locals.
