Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong financial reporting and month-end close experience.
• Experience preparing or supporting 10-K and 10-Q SEC filings.
• Knowledge of SEC reporting, U.S. GAAP, and SOX internal controls.
• Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition and ASC 842 lease accounting.
• Experience with inventory, fixed assets, and reconciliations.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process and financial reporting.
• Prepare and support SEC filings, including 10-K and 10-Q.
• Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, U.S. GAAP, and SOX.
• Research complex technical accounting issues and document conclusions.
• Maintain SOX internal controls, documentation, tests, and remediation.
• Manage revenue recognition under ASC 606 and lease accounting under ASC 842.
• Support inventory accounting, reconciliations, and fixed assets.
• Calculate and administer sales commissions.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide audit documentation.
• Identify process improvements for close and reporting.
