Job summary

Scale Media is seeking a mid-level Data Analyst to act as a Data Detective for our e-commerce P&L. You will own the truth behind revenue figures, bridge data from Stripe, Shopify, and banks, and partner with Finance on forecasting and reporting.

You’ll transform raw data into actionable insights, build forecasts, and create dashboards in Sigma to support leadership. Fully remote role with a strong emphasis on accuracy and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of data analysis experience, preferably supporting finance
• Strong forecasting experience in SQL/spreadsheets/BI tools
• Financial acumen: revenue recognition, COGS, gross vs net, contribution margin
• Experience in DTC e-commerce with Shopify/Amazon/Stripe data

Responsibilities

• Forecast revenue, orders, renewals and expenses by brand and channel; keep forecasts current
• Build and maintain P&L and unit economics reports by brand, channel and product
• Lead revenue discrepancy reconciliations across payment processors, bank deposits, internal data, and QuickBooks
• Prepare data using KNIME/dbt or Python; design dashboards in Sigma for Finance and leadership
