Job summary

Scale Media, a fully remote e-commerce group, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst who acts as a Data Detective for the P&L and forecasting. You will own forecasts for revenue, orders, renewals, and cash by brand and channel, and build models grounded in reconciled data.

We expect 5+ years in data/financial analytics, hands-on forecasting and predictive modeling, and strong SQL in Snowflake with Python. This role offers a fully remote, high-impact environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data or financial analytics experience in DTC or consumer businesses.
• Hands-on forecasting and predictive modeling used to support decisions.
• Strong grasp of accounting principles and cash flow understanding.
• Experience with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Stripe data.
• Proficient SQL in Snowflake and Python; Sigma experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with ELT tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and own forecasts for revenue, orders, renewals, and cash by brand and channel.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity models to aid budgeting.
• Track forecast accuracy and refine projections as the business evolves.
• Build predictive models for renewal, refunds, and SKU-level demand.
• Own P&L reporting: revenue, discounts, refunds, COGS, and contribution margin.
• Lead data reconciliation across processors, banks, and QuickBooks.
• Prepare data with dbt or Python; write SQL in Snowflake; dashboards in Sigma.
• Present forecasts and model findings to Finance and leadership.
