Job summary

Scale Media, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Analyst who acts as a data detective for an e-commerce P&L.

You will own the truth behind financial numbers, forecast revenue, orders, renewals, and cash by brand and channel, and partner with Finance to drive informed decisions. You’ll build predictive models, maintain dashboards in Sigma, ensure data integrity across Stripe, Shopify, and QuickBooks, and mentor teammates on modeling quality while collaborating with leadership to raise forecasting

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data or financial analytics, senior individual contributor, not a manager.
• Experience with forecasting (time-series/regression) and predictive modeling.
• Strong financial acumen and familiarity with financial statements and cash flows.
• Proven experience in DTC e-commerce; familiarity with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Stripe data.

Responsibilities

• Build and own forecasts for revenue, orders, renewals, and cash by brand and channel.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity models for budget planning.
• Own reporting on revenue, gross vs. net sales, discounts, refunds, COGS, and contribution margins.
• Lead reconciliation across payment processors, bank deposits, internal DB, and QuickBooks.
• Build financial datasets and models with dbt/Python; write SQL in Snowflake.
• Present forecasts and model findings to Finance and leadership; mentor analysts.
