Job summary

Scale Media, a fully remote ecommerce company, seeks a mid-level Data Analyst who owns the truth behind revenue and P&L figures. You will forecast revenue and expenses, reconcile data across Stripe/Shopify/QuickBooks, and partner with Finance to drive accurate insights.

You will transform raw transactional data into trusted datasets, build dashboards in Sigma, and collaborate with the data engineer to ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in data analysis, preferably supporting finance.
• Experience building/maintaining financial forecasts in SQL, spreadsheets, or BI.
• Comfort with revenue recognition, COGS, and margin metrics.
• Direct experience with Shopify, Amazon, and Stripe data required.
• Proficient in Snowflake SQL and Sigma dashboards; Tableau/Looker/Power BI a plus.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; strong ELT awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain forecasts for revenue, orders, renewals, and expenses by brand/channel.
• Produce variance analyses and budget scenarios for Finance.
• Reconcile revenue data across Stripe, payment processors, banks, and QuickBooks.
• Create data pipelines and dashboards in Sigma; transform data with SQL for finance rules.
