Job summary

Thrivent Financial is seeking a CU Financial Analyst to support management decision-making through business plans, forecasts, and ALM modeling. You will provide analysis to the ALCO Committee on liquidity, profitability, and net interest income and maintain Financial Performance systems in regulatory compliance.

You will be the primary point of contact for the secondary market function, handling data, reporting, and ad hoc analysis to inform lending decisions and capital planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in bank accounting or finance.
• 3–5 years of experience in secondary market or financial analyst role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation/review of business plans, forecasts, and budgets using ALM modeling or other tools.
• Provide ALCO/management with review of ALM modeling and reporting (eLiquidity, profitability, NPV, and NII).
• Maintain/update Financial Performance systems per regulatory requirements.
• Perform liquidity forecasting, reporting, and stress testing.
• Develop/run data/reports from multiple systems for analysis and reporting.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to inform decisions.
• Serve as primary analyst for the secondary market function and guide mortgage staff.
