Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, MIS, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, operations, or systems roles.
• Ability to analyze data, perform reconciliations, and resolve issues impacting financial processes.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, and financial systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate processing and reporting of financial data across accounting and treasury.
• Performs validation, transformation, reconciliation, and reporting of financial transactions.
• Delivers regulatory, management, and operational reports; improves reporting efficiency.
• Supports audits, regulatory examinations, and internal control activities.
• Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, and processes.
• Maintains risk management through controls and audit-ready documentation.
• Analyzes trends and variances to improve reporting accuracy and reliability.
• Models Thrivent leadership competencies and supports continuous improvement.
