Global Credit Union in Renton, WA is seeking a Financial Risk Analyst I–III to conduct detailed ALM and risk analyses. You will support IRR, NII, NEV modeling, budget forecasting, and stress testing, while preparing management reports on financial risks.

The role emphasizes analytical rigor, data governance, and collaboration with teammates and vendors to improve processes and ensure policy compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, business administration, or related field.
• Four years of experience in a similar analytical role; ALM software preferred (FISERV AL Risk Management or similar).
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with MS Excel, VBA, macros, pivot tables, and statistical functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform asset/liability management (ALM) analyses using financial models to assess IRR, NII, and NEV.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analyses of the ALM process.
• Develop financial risk analyses and stress tests for IRR, credit, concentration, liquidity, and capital risk, and prepare management reports.
• Maintain and validate credit union’s financial model assumptions, and perform sensitivity analyses.
• Prepare monthly Allowance for Loss calculations and assist in CECL model maintenance.
• Analyze large data sets, perform model governance and back testing, ensuring data integrity.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial risk analyses independently, efficiently, and accurately.
• Enhance analyses through automation and process improvement, and document related processes.
• Effectively communicate results of analyses and risk assessments to management and other analysts.
• Build collaborative relationships with coworkers, management, and vendors to create a productive work environment.
• Maintain understanding of policies and regulatory requirements related to financial risks and assist in policy reviews.
