Job summary

Thrivent invites applications for a Financial Analyst role focused on financial planning, treasury, and secondary market activities. You will analyze data, prepare reports, and assist with regulatory compliance while supporting liquidity forecasting and stress testing.

The position interacts with Thrivent teams, external vendors, and management to ensure accurate performance tracking and informed decisions. Remote work options are available across national regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in bank accounting or a finance discipline.
• 0–3 years of experience in the secondary market.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and review of business plans, forecasts, and budgets using ALM modeling or other tools.
• Assemble monthly ALCO, Board, and BRCo packets.
• Provide data to third-party vendors for ALM reporting, including liquidity and stress testing.
• Support Senior Financial Analyst with all Finance areas.
• Maintain Financial Performance systems per regulatory requirements.
• Prepare liquidity forecasting, monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, and stress testing.
• Develop and run reports and reconcile data from multiple systems.
