Job summary

Kaplan is seeking a Financial Aid Officer to evaluate aid eligibility for students across their academic careers with emphasis on regulatory compliance. You will manage Title IV verification, disbursement scheduling, and complex aid problems while coordinating with teams to ensure accurate funding decisions.

Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility and award aid following guidelines for all fund sources (grants, loans, tuition assistance, military, etc.).
• Assess and approve documentation for Title IV Verification, C Code, and related requirements.
• Calculate and schedule excess funding returns to students, lenders, or other sources.
• Complete drop evaluations, including Return to Title IV, for students who cease attending.
• Coordinate with team members and other departments as needed to maintain performance standards.
