The Nature Conservancy in the United States seeks a Finance Manager for AR, IA, MO to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for a pod, in collaboration with the Finance Director. This remote role supports the Great Plains Division with travel not exceeding 10% annually.

You will provide financial guidance, ensure data integrity, and drive strategic financial decisions across conservation, philanthropy, and operations teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field with 4 years' related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience using Workday including data entry, reporting, analysis, and/or other functions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
• Demonstrated ability to be a strategic finance partner and influence decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, financial close, pledge reviews, grant administration, lease & asset certifications, and related financial activities for a pod in partnership with the Finance Director.
• Provide financial analysis, modeling, and insights to inform planning and resource allocation.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data, systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Support implementation of financial strategies and finance process improvements.
• Approve accounts receivable/payable, coordinating with the accounting specialist as needed.
• Support management and tracking of private awards and review funding proposals.
• Deliver finance services across the pod, coordinating with Ops & Enablement, Contracts, Reporting/Awards, and enterprise finance teams.
• Monitor compliance with policies and regulatory requirements; administer complex finance processes for programs and contracts.
• Provide technical guidance and act as main point-of-contact for BU staff questions.
