Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking an experienced Finance Manager, AR, IA, MO to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for a pod serving three business units. This remote role collaborates with the Finance Director and division finance team to provide strategic financial guidance and ensure resource stewardship.

You will manage a broad range of finance activities, including planning, variance analysis, and year-end close, while partnering with philanthropy, operations, and other

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and 4 years' related experience or equivalent combination.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience using Workday including data entry, reporting, analysis, and/or other functions.
• Experience translating financial information into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficient in data manipulation and interpretation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, close, and grant management for a finance pod.
• Provide financial analysis to inform planning, resource allocation, and decisions.
• Maintain accuracy and internal controls across financial data and systems.
• Support implementation of finance strategies and process improvements.
• Approve accounts receivable/payable and coordinate with accounting staff.
