Job summary

The Nature Conservancy seeks a Finance Manager, AR, IA, MO (Manager) to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for a multi-unit pod. You will partner with the Finance Director and program staff to deliver strategic guidance and ensure strong internal controls in a remote-capable role based in the Great Plains division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience; 2+ years with Workday preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a strategic finance partner.
• Advanced Excel and data-analytic capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting for a pod.
• Coordinate with Finance Director and BU staff for strategic financial guidance.
• Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, and grant administration.
• Identify risks and opportunities; support resource allocation decisions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
