Job summary

The Nature Conservancy is seeking a Finance Manager, AR, IA, MO to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for a multi-unit finance pod. You will partner with the Finance Director and division teams to deliver strategic financial guidance and manage day-to-day finance activities.

You will oversee planning, variance analysis, and resource allocation, ensuring strong internal controls and compliance while supporting organizational priorities and funding decisions across the pod.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience using Workday or similar HRIS/ERP systems including data entry, reporting, analysis.
• Experience as a strategic finance partner and ability to influence decisions and prioritize.
• Experience in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting and translating data into insights.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, close, grant administration, lease & asset certifications for a pod.
• Provide financial analysis, modeling, and insights to inform planning and resource allocation.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data, systems, and controls.
• Support implementation of financial strategies and process improvements.
• Approve accounts receivable/payable in coordination with the accounting specialist.
