The Nature Conservancy seeks a Finance Manager, AR, IA, MO, to lead a finance pod supporting three business units. You will collaborate with the Finance Director and division team to provide accounting services, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic financial guidance.

You will manage day-to-day activities and deliver insights to inform funding decisions in a matrixed environment. This remote role requires strong partnership, Excel expertise, and the ability to translate complex data

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and 4 years' related experience or equivalent combination.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience using Workday including data entry, reporting, analysis, and/or other functions.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as a strategic finance partner, build trusted relationships, influence decision-making, provide strategic recommendations, and navigate competing priorities.

Mansioni

• Manages budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, financial close, pledge reviews, grant administration, lease & asset certifications, and related financial management activities for a pod in partnership with the Finance Director.
• Provides financial analysis, modeling, and insights to inform planning, resource allocation, and operational decision-making.
• Maintains the accuracy, integrity, and effective administration of financial data, systems, processes, and internal controls.
• Supports implementation of financial strategies, operational improvements, organizational initiatives, and finance process enhancements.
• Serves as approver of accounts receivable and accounts payable, coordinating with the accounting specialist in the Ops & Enablement assistance as needed.
• Supports management and tracking of private awards and reviews private funding proposals in partnership with the philanthropy team and supports the Private Awards Specialist as needed.
